Quarterly update

We are pleased to release our next quarterly update, delayed a bit by the festive period! We would like to start by wishing everyone a good start to 2014. We can’t believe its mid-January already It has been a busy few months for The Advocacy Project. In September Catriona presented work carried out by the Engagement and Involvement team at a World Café Event for Glasgow Council for the Voluntary Sector. Catriona gave a short presentation about a project where we’ve been working with older people from Black, Minority ethnic groups who live in the south of Glasgow. We also had our AGM, and to document the day we wrote a summary which you can read here. We are all looking forward to next year! October saw two of our Glasgow team attend a Human Rights event and then during Glasgow Public Protection Week (21-25th Oct) we presented awareness raising sessions on Adult Support and Protection in ten care homes across the city. These were for residents, staff and family members.
