   Adult protection legislation in Glasgow

In Glasgow we provide a service to people with Learning Disabilities and Communication Support Needs.

This service aims to give people a voice when decisions are being made about their lives. We do this by:

  • Supporting people to think about their options

  • Providing people with information to help them to make up their minds
  • Helping people to understand what is happening
  • Enabling people to be part of the process and to have a chance to speak up

We can help with issues about:

  • Health
  • Services people use
  • Social Work
  • Money
  • Where you live
  • Your community
  • Carers or supporters

Advocacy Workers come out to meet a person where every they feel most comfortable.
