   Older People in Glasgow

The Advocacy Project Older Peoples Service was launched in 2002 to provide independent advocacy support to individuals in the Glasgow area who are 65 and over. Following the basic principles of the organisation as a whole, the Older Peoples Service provides support on a range of issues including:

  • Housing
  • Social Work
  • Finance
  • Care Homes
  • Health Services

This list is not exhaustive and we may be able to help in other ways.

The assistance we provide can take many forms, and this is guided by the people we work with, varying from gathering information to supporting contact with a range of service providers.

We assist older people in Glasgow to have their point of view listened to and acted upon.

The Older Peoples Service provides independent advocacy to individuals and groups, using paid workers and volunteers (find out more about volunteer advocacy).

If you feel you or someone you know would benefit from the service of the Older People Service please do not hesitate to contact us.
