Engagement and Involvement
The Engagement and Involvement Service was launched in 2010. The service aims to independently support people who access services to be involved in and consulted about the services they receive. The Advocacy Project believes that actively involving service users and encouraging participation is empowering for people who use services. The Advocacy Project can offer independent facilitation of a range of service users participation including: - regular service user meetings/forums - service user evaluation exercises - consultation events - focus groups The independent nature of the support provided by The Advocacy Project can lead to feedback that the service provider may find difficult to obtain themselves. We will work with the service providers to encourage and develop an ethos of service users involvement and participation within their organisation. We also have experience of working with local authorities and NHS in wider consultation exercises. If you would like any more information about this service, please get in touch.
