About The Advocacy Project

The Advocacy Project was established in 1992.  It was set by disabled people and others, who recognised the need for individuals to be supported to ensure that their voice was heard.

Over the years, it has extended and developed to provide advocacy services to a variety of client groups across a wide geographical area.

The organisation is governed by a Board of Directors who give their time voluntarily and bring a variety of skills and interests, including direct experience of using and providing advocacy.
